Automation Retrofit Passes Final Acceptance: Plant-Wide PLC and SCADA Central Control Now in Operation

Covering plant-wide PLC control, centralised SCADA monitoring, intelligent chemical dosing and equipment operation and maintenance management, the project marks the plant's shift from manual inspection-led operation to centralised monitoring and data-driven control.
Youkong delivered the project as a one-stop package: preliminary site survey, detailed design, equipment supply, project implementation and final acceptance. At the field control layer, Youkong's own PLC control cabinets form the core, handling signal acquisition and control for process stages including 【screening / pumping station / biological tank / dosing room】. At the central layer, a SCADA system brings equipment status, process parameters and alarms of the whole plant onto a single screen.
For chemical dosing — historically the step most dependent on operator experience — the project added intelligent dosing that automatically adjusts dosage in response to live inflow and water quality parameters, cutting chemical consumption while keeping effluent compliant. A companion equipment O&M module keeps a running record for every critical asset and generates maintenance reminders by runtime and condition, reducing unplanned downtime caused by sudden failures.
"Acceptance doesn't mean the equipment is installed; it means every control logic and every alarm threshold has been run through on site and can be verified," said the Youkong project manager. "We deliver to verifiable standards — the acceptance documentation matches the field data, item by item."
