I. Product Introduction
The 3D visualization digital twin system is a digital modeling and visualization management solution for wastewater treatment plants. Based on the plant layout, building structures, treatment structures, process pipelines, and equipment data of the wastewater plant, the system builds a 3D digital model corresponding to the actual plant area, and integrates the on-site automation system, monitoring instruments, and equipment operation data into the 3D scene.
Through 3D visualization technology, information originally scattered across 2D process drawings, monitoring screens, and equipment ledgers is integrated into a unified digital scene. Management personnel can intuitively view the plant-wide spatial layout, process units, equipment locations, and operating status, and query equipment information, monitoring parameters, and alarm records through model interaction.
The system is not only used to display the 3D appearance of the wastewater plant, but can also further implement real-time data mapping, equipment status linkage, abnormal location positioning, operation trend analysis, and O&M information association according to project requirements, providing a visualization foundation for wastewater plant operation monitoring, equipment management, and digital operations.
II. Core Functions
1. Plant-wide 3D Modeling
Based on the wastewater plant general layout drawing, architectural drawings, process drawings, equipment data, and on-site survey and drawing data, a 3D model covering the entire plant is established.
The modeling scope may include:
l Plant roads, buildings, and auxiliary facilities
l Influent pump room, grit chamber, and equalization tank
l Biological tank, aeration tank, sedimentation tank, and advanced treatment facilities
l Disinfection facilities, effluent area, and discharge facilities
l Sludge thickening, dewatering, and treatment facilities
l Water pumps, blowers, valves, pipelines, and other main equipment
l Power distribution room, control room, and other important functional areas
The overall plant model, key process unit model, or equipment-level detailed model can be selected according to project requirements. Model accuracy and level of detail are determined by actual drawings, on-site data, and project budget.
2. 3D Visualization of Process Flow
The wastewater treatment process is combined with the 3D plant model to display the main process of wastewater from influent, pretreatment, biological treatment, sedimentation, advanced treatment to disinfection and effluent, and to display the sludge treatment process according to project requirements.
Through process area switching, equipment model positioning, and pipeline relationship display, it helps management personnel understand the spatial layout and process connections between different treatment units.
When corresponding models and data conditions are available, dynamic effects can assist in displaying water flow direction, process flow, and equipment operation processes.
3. Real-time Operation Data Mapping
Associate data from PLC,SCADA, on-site instruments, and other automation systems with equipment and process units in the 3D model.
Displayable data includes:
l Operating status of water pumps, blowers, and other equipment
l Process parameters such as liquid level, flow rate, and pressure
l Dissolved oxygen,pH and other connected water quality monitoring data
l Alarm information such as equipment faults, parameter exceedances, and communication abnormalities
l Equipment operating time and other collected operation data
After management personnel select the corresponding 3D equipment or process unit, they can view the associated operation information, realizing linkage among the model, equipment, and data.
4. Visualization of Equipment Status
Based on the connected equipment status signals, distinguish equipment running, stopped, fault, and other configured states in the 3D scene.
Management personnel can enter a specific area from the plant-wide view, then locate a single piece of equipment to view the equipment name, model, operating parameters, alarm information, and related maintenance materials.
Specific status types, refresh frequency, and display methods are determined by the on-site control system and data interface.
5. Abnormal Alarms and 3D Positioning
Associate connected alarm information with the corresponding 3D area, process unit, or equipment model.
When equipment faults, liquid level exceedances, abnormal monitoring parameters, or communication interruptions occur, the system can highlight the corresponding object in the 3D scene and provide alarm content, occurrence time, and related information to help management personnel quickly locate problems.
Alarm positioning and linkage effects depend on the association configuration among on-site alarm data, equipment codes, and the 3D model.
6. 3D Interaction and Scene Roaming
Support project-configured 3D scene zooming, rotation, panning, area switching, equipment selection, and information query.
Management personnel can view the overall layout from the plant-wide perspective, and can also enter key treatment areas to view the spatial relationship between equipment and structures, reducing the operation of switching among multiple independent monitoring screens.
7. Digital O&M Information Association
The 3D equipment model can be associated with equipment files, inspection records, maintenance work orders, maintenance plans, and historical fault records.
By selecting an equipment model, management personnel can query the corresponding equipment information and O&M records, assisting in equipment inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance management.
This function can be integrated with the equipment O&M management module according to project needs.
III. System Application Value
